과/와

This particle is used to link nouns together. If the noun ends in a consonant, use ‘고’，If the noun ends in a vowel, use ‘와’，This particle is interchangeable with ‘하고’.

'이랑/랑' is used for conversation. If the noun ends in a consonant, use ‘이랑’，If the noun ends in a vowel, use ‘랑'.

Examples

• 나는 봄과 가을을 좋아합니다. I like spring and fall.
• 동생과 누나가 집에서 기다립니다. My younger brother and older sister are waiting at home.
• 책상 위에 시계와 책이 있습니다. There is a watch and a book on the desk.
