-으니까/니까

This connective ending is used with a verb stem to indicate the reason or cause of the next clause. When the verb ends in a vowel, use ‘-니까’. When it ends in a consonant, use ‘-으니까’. It is used to emphasize that the preceding statement is the cause, reason, or premise for the following statement.
